Nero Wolfe Discussion Group!

Hi everybody. :) My name is liviapenn and I'm a new Nero Wolfe fan. (My previous Nero Wolfe squee posts can be found here on my LJ.)

I was so glad to find this comm here on DW. I am dying to discuss the books with other Nero Wolfe fen, so I asked on my LJ whether people would be interested in participating in a book-club type discussion group. People seem to be interested, so, with the permission of jest, I'm putting together a schedule for discussing the books.

I would like to have people sign up to "host" a discussion each week. I have no idea how much interest there is in doing this, so I'll start by putting the next 9 books/stories up now. After all these discussions have been held I'll put up a post with the next 5-10 up for sign-ups (depending on how much demand there is this time around.)

If you would like to volunteer to post the initial discussion post for one of the listed books, please leave a comment.

To keep things convenient, you can post your discussion-starter post on milk_and_orchids anytime between the date listed (the days are all Sundays) & the following Saturday. If you'd like me to send you a PM to remind you that your week is coming up, let me know that in your comment (as well as if you'd like your reminder PM on LJ or DW.)

I read all your squee last night and had a real blast! :-D

All my books are in storage, so I can't volunteer, but I'll see what I can find at the library to help me play along. You really, really made me want to read these books again. It's probably been at least a decade!
