Book Club?

Hey, everyone at milk_and_orchids! I know it's been a while since this comm has seen any activity, but we were just about to get to In the Best Families, and I think it would be a shame to stop now! Especially since I just found a ton of Nero Wolfe books and have devoured about ten of them over the last week.

So would anyone be interested in starting the book club up again? I was thinking of hosting a post for all the previous books, in case anyone had some thoughts or wanted to catch up, and then maybe a recap of the Zeck books and the other short stories in the collection we hadn't got to, and then on with In the Best Families.

How are we for interest?

I'll need to dig out my books, since they're still packed from my move, but any ones I can't find I'm sure I can get from the library with enough notice.

Someone very kind brought up a huge box of Nero Wolfe books to the summer camp I go to a couple years ago, and I filled in several holes in my reading from that collection. This year it was still there, and it reignited my passion! I don't know if liviapenn and I have a full set between us, but I think we can scare up anything we're missing.

I'm pretty sure I do have a full set! They're in the cabinet under the box fan in the living room. AND WE SHOULD TOTALLY START UP THE BOOK CLUB AGAIN. Were we really almost to In The Best Families?

I wasn't around for the first time Milk and Orchids was really, though I enjoyed the fic after the fact. I'm thrilled to be here for a new round of read alongs!

Yay! So glad you can join us! I am going to have the first catch-up post up by the end of the week, so if you have any thought about the first chunk of Wolfe books you can chime in on a brand new post! (I know I felt a little awkward about posting thoughts on something that was months or years old when I was doing my read-through.)
